From June 9-12, the Department of Laity, Family and Life Affairs will host a webinar entitled “Amoris laetitia: Where Are We? Strategies for the Pastoral Application of Pope Francis’ Apostolic Admonition ”.

The meeting will take place within the framework of the Year of the Family Amoris laetitia in the form of “dialogue in the synodal style”, according to a press release from the organizers. The purpose of this dialogue is “to support the actualization of Amoris laetitia in a pastoral and missionary manner”.

The heads of the departments of pastoral care for the family at the level of episcopal conferences, international associations and church movements are invited to participate in the webinar. In total, about 350 delegates signed up, representing 70 episcopal conferences and 30 movements and associations.

Participants will share experiences that have ripened in various church realities in the field of preparing for marriage, teaching pastoral assistants for families, raising children, marital spirituality, family missionary work. Pastoral ways of accompaniment, recognition and integration will be discussed (according to the recommendations of chapter VIII of the apostolic exhortation Amoris laetitia).
