The director of the Vatican Press Hall confirmed that the Holy See does not ignore the situation in Belarus.

“The Holy See continues to closely monitor the development of the situation in Belarus,” said the director of the Vatican Press Hall on June 11, answering journalists’ questions. He added that the Holy See is following the steps taken by various figures who are involved in the events taking place in the country. At the same time, the Vatican remains true to its commitment “to facilitate the achievement of democratic and peaceful solutions in response to the legitimate demands of the Belarusian people”.
